READING, March 6, 2024 – Rich Stump, III has been named the recipient of a 2024 Leadership Award by Vistage, the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize businesses. The Leadership Award celebrates a member’s enduring excellence in leadership, recognizing the impact they’ve had on their business, Vistage group, and community. Leadership Award winners have implemented significant changes in their businesses that lay the groundwork for a strong future.
Rich is President of Suburban Testing Labs, a full-service environmental testing laboratory located in Reading, Pennsylvania that specializes in the analysis of drinking water, ground water, wastewater, soil and solid materials. As president, Rich has led the development of Suburban’s culture focused on providing high-quality, defensible data with fast turnaround times and excellent customer service. Rich has also evolved Suburban’s leadership structure, providing greater role accountabilities and Key Performance Indicators. Since becoming President in 2014, Suburban has grown almost 200%.
Supporting the industry and community, Rich currently serves on the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Laboratory Accreditation Advisory Committee, and the Boards of the Pennsylvania Association of Accredited Environmental Laboratories and the Reading Science Center.
