EPWPCOA Training at our Lab 11.06.13

Learn how to sort through the complicated world of NPDES Permit Renewals, Biosolids/Sludge Testing, and Sampling.  The Eastern PA Water Pollution Control Operators Association (EPWPCOA) Laboratory Committee of Eastern PA will hold their fall training at Suburban Testing Labs on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.Suburban Testing Labs Training

“Get With The Program” will help you learn what you can do to prepare your plan for these complicated regulatory programs.

This course is for anyone, who receives/submits laboratory testing results for regulatory programs including but not limited to certified operators, laboratory supervisors, WWTP personnel and engineers. Its purpose is to educate attendees regarding the laboratory testing required for various regulatory programs including NPDES Permit Renewals, DRBC Testing Requirements, Biosolids/Sludge Disposal and the sampling associated with each program. Discussion will include NPDES Permit Renewal Testing Requirements, Sampling at the WWTP and Industrial sites, and Biosolids Analysis. It will also include a tour of an Environmental Lab: Follow the Life of Samples Through the Lab.

Presenters include Deb Balsavage, Compliance Coordinator for M & B Environmental, Sara Kuzma-Stump, Client Services Director for Suburban Testing Labs, Rich Stump, Laboratory Director for Suburban Testing Labs, and Brad Griffiths, Technical Director at MJ Reider.
