Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday – Welcome #GivingTuesday. After you’ve spent the weekend focusing on holiday shopping, take a moment to be charitable this season. Since 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy.

Berks Nature
Berks Nature is an organization in our backyard dedicated to preserving the water and natural resources of Berks County, and is heavily involved in community engagement. Donations make a tangible difference in our local community. Two ways to give:

water.org
Water.org is a non-profit dedicated to bringing safe water and sanitation to people living in poverty around the world. Co-founded by Matt Damon, they have already helped millions, and hope to help millions more with the support of donors. They also help by providing micro loans and financial tools to assist regions lacking the financial infrastructure to build. Here are two ways to give:
- Start your own fundraiser for water.org. Perhaps by running a race, selling lemonade, or by requesting donations for your birthday or Christmas in lieu of gifts.
- Donate on their website donation page.
