Having a strong, well-equipped Quality Assurance (QA) Department is essential to fulfilling that commitment to our clients.  Quality is more than just a requirement, it’s a philosophy in the daily lives of all our team members.

Data Quality

Our QA Team has instituted a rigorous process for thorough data review at multiple levels of the laboratory to ensure you can count on your results. We have three levels of data review providing important double checks to ensure accuracy. In addition, your personal Project Manager reviews your final report to ensure you get what you need. Most importantly, our leadership culture constantly and consistently reinforces the importance of defensible accurate data.

Our Quality Assurance (QA) Team

Our QA Team is led by Sarah Purtell, and supported by a team of experienced experts that work to ensure laboratory data meets all regulatory and client requirements.  This includes data integrity audits, technical support, and reporting.  They review and manage all quality documents, equipment maintenance, and corrective actions.  They also actively identify, investigate, correct, and report on laboratory performance.

Accreditation

We are accredited in accordance with the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) which is based on ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards. This requires us to pass strict regulatory audits and pass routine proficiency testing in all matrices to ensure our analysis is up to the highest level of quality standards.

There is no finish line in the pursuit of defensible data.  It’s an ongoing obligation and promise that we continue to uphold every hour of every day.
